When you “book within the block” you help ASAS and CSAS keep meeting costs as low as possible and enable us to provide some of the important features meeting attendees have come to enjoy. For the 2024 ASAS-CSAS-WSASAS Annual Meeting, we have great hotel options. By staying at one of the hotels within the block, you are assured the hotels are taking extra measures to keep guest rooms and public spaces as clean as possible to provide a safe place for our meeting attendees to stay.

As an added bonus, you will be in the same hotels as other attendees to help promote networking opportunities.

Information for Hotel Reservations

The American Society of Animal Science has negotiated discounted hotel rates for 2024 ASAS-CSAS-WSASAS Annual Meeting attendees. Using the links below, you can review the hotel options, make real-time reservations through our secure hotel booking website, or contact our housing provider by phone or email.
Hotel reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served, space available basis. Submit your request as soon as possible for the best opportunity of receiving your hotel choice. 

Deadline

All reservations must be received by July 1, 2024, to guarantee availability and conference rates.  After this date, reservations will be made based on availability and hotels may charge higher rates.

Reserving a Room Block (5 or more rooms)

CLICK HERE to complete the group block request form to book 5 or more rooms. Confirmation of your room block request will be sent via email within one business week.  

Deposit

All reservation requests must be accompanied by a credit card guarantee for deposit of one night’s room and tax for each room reserved. Your credit card WILL NOT BE CHARGED during this initial stage and will be held as a GUARANTEE only.

Acknowledgments

Orchid Events will send reservation acknowledgements within 24 hours via email if booked online or by telephone. If you do not receive your acknowledgement in this time frame, contact Orchid Events. You will not receive a written confirmation from the hotel.

Cancellations & Changes

Reservations cancelled after June 21, 2024 will be subject to a $50 USD processing fee for each room cancelled charged by Orchid Events. Deposit of one night’s room and tax will be forfeited entirely if cancellation occurs within 72 hours of arrival date.

Through July 11, 2024, changes and cancellations can be made online or by contacting Orchid Events via e-mail at help@orchid.events. After July 11, 2024, contact your hotel to make changes and/or cancellations.
