Jill Rexford, Omega Protein Innovation Research Award

Jill Rexford is originally from Pendleton, New York, and received her BS in animal science in 2005 from Cornell University. During her undergraduate career, she was a member of the Cornell polo team and the Cornell figure skating team. Rexford moved to Colorado in 2006 and worked as an equine sales representative for a supplement company before beginning a graduate program at Colorado State University under the guidance of Tanja Hess. She now resides in Fort Collins, Colorado, and will be graduating with her MS in August 2010. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her horse, attend jackpot barrel races, play polo, figure skate, and enjoy the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.</p>
