This year, the ASAS Foundation has been dedicated to "opening new doors" for both current and future animal scientists, and I wanted to share the incredible advances we've made, all thanks to the generosity of our ASAS members, friends, and corporate partners!

Together, we have:

• Continued our summer D.C. internship program,
• Presented three prestigious awards to early-career animal scientists,
• Granted four travel scholarships to graduate students eager to expand their horizons,
• Supported vibrant student competitions at both the Midwest and Annual meetings,
• Honored our professional members with multiple distinguished awards,
• Hosted renowned lectures and symposia at our gatherings, and
• Supported the Opening Session and so much more!

As we approach the end of the year, we have an opportunity to create a lasting impact by investing in the future of animal science and scientists.
