About Calihan ~

Calihan brings a wealth of valuable experience to the table. Growing up in southwestern Idaho, she developed a deep understanding of livestock care, horse riding, and cattle work on a farm. Currently a junior at Montana State University, she is pursuing a double major in Agriculture Business and Political Science. Calihan is also an active member of the Sigma Alpha Professional Agriculture Sorority and during the fall 2023 semester, she interned with Montana Public Interest Research Group (MontPIRG), a non-partisan organization that empowers young leaders to make a positive impact in Montana. 

Calihan is thrilled and eagerly anticipates utilizing her experiences to contribute to the legislative and administrative aspects of animal agriculture in the United States through this exceptional and impactful internship opportunity.
