Annual Meeting abstract submissions open

The abstract submission site for the 2018 ASAS-CSAS Annual Meeting & Trade Show is open! Visit https://asas.org/meetings/annual-2018/abstracts-program to submit your abstract.

New for 2018:

Enhanced Submission Website: Following many comments, ASAS and CSAS have moved to a new submission website. The site will provide an enhanced submission and review experience.

ePoster Wine and Cheese and ePoster Morning: To ensure that participants have adequate time to see posters, we have added poster sessions in combination with a wine and cheese reception and a morning dedicated just to posters.

Returning in 2018:

AnimalX: A series of 3-5 minute Ted-style talks about a broad range of animal science topics.

Junior Platform Talks: Once again, our best speakers from the ASAS sections will be given the opportunity to give invited platform talks to lead off general sessions.

Platform Talks: In many of our sessions, an invited speaker leads off a themed or topical oral session with a 45-minute talk, followed by general submissions.

Theme/Focus: Over the past few years, we have had a theme. The results from this year’s program committee didn’t yield a theme, but we promise 2018 will offer some of the best science in our 109-year history. With over 30 symposia, we have something for everyone, and unique to 2018 is an emphasis on beef cattle production and basic non-ruminant nutrition. See the preliminary list of symposia!

The deadline for abstract submission is Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:59 pm (CDT).

The 2018 ASAS-CSAS Annual Meeting and Trade Show website will be updated frequently with the latest meeting information. Housing and registration are already open.

The 2018 ASAS-CSAS Annual Meeting & Trade Show scientific program will feature 1,000 oral and poster presentations from around the world, including a day of overlap with the 12th World Conference on Animal Production. Make plans to submit your abstract to either meeting to be included in the 2,000 scientists expected to meet across both meetings in Vancouver.

Thank you,
