The Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research (FFAR) is holding its annual Public Board Meeting Session on Friday, October 6 in Washington, D.C. The session begins at 11:00 a.m. in the AAAS Auditorium, 12th & H St NW, Washington, D.C.
Attendees will hear from FFAR Board leadership and Executive Director Sally Rockey, Ph.D., on the Foundation's most exciting year yet. The program will include a presentation of current and future research efforts to which nearly $200 million in FFAR and funding partner contributions will be obligated by the end of the year. Guest speakers are also invited to address the Board and the session will end with an open Q&A session.
The FFAR Board invites interested members of the public to participate in the session by offering brief prepared remarks or asking questions of the Board.
